The International Conference on Environmental Systems (ICES) provides a forum for authorities from industry, government, and academia to address the technical issues of humans living and working in space and other hostile environments. Each year engineers, scientists, designers, educators, researchers, students and technical specialists meet at the ICES to learn about the latest technology advancements and report their own findings. ICES 2010 is sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the SAE Environmental Systems Committee, and the ICES International Committee (INT).
