The Conference aims to promote scientific and technical excellence in the fields of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) in aerospace applications. The 1st European Aerospace GNC Conference will establish a platform for communication and information exchange between specialists directly contributing to the technical and scientific aspects of these fields.

All scientists and engineers from industry, research institutes and universities involved in the development of novel GNC methods, applications or technologies are invited to attend. Presentations are primarily focused on actual experience gained from real-life application of GNC architectures, algorithms and methods as well as on technical and scientific aspects of those fields.

The European countries host a critical number of people working in the fields of aerospace GNC. The motivation of this international conference is to share the wealth and multitude of contributions and exchange information beyond the borders of a single group. Especially cross-discipline synergies between the individual fields are stimulated. By uniting control with sensor data fusion and navigation on the one hand, and space and atmospheric applications on the other hand, cross-discipline synergies are stimulated.

The EuroGNC 2011 conference is limited to the area of Guidance, Navigation and Control for aerospace applications. To ensure scientific depth and a technical orientation, no presentations of a general nature such as projects, strategies or plans should be submitted.
