Don’t miss this chance to join one of the world’s most respected satellite training courses and ensure you are ahead of the game in the satellite industry!

Gain practical experience

A key feature of the course is its project work – you will work alongside an expert tutor to complete a simulated workplace project on a focused area of satellite communications. It’s the ideal way to learn real industry skills that you can take straight into the workplace. Choose from military satcom system usage, payload design, earth station design and file transfer for tactical TCP/IP links.

Cover the theory

The course includes a wealth of technical sessions, from the basics through to the most detailed aspects of satellite communications. Key topics include satellite systems planning, link engineering and link budgets, spacecraft engineering and operations, multiple access techniques, payload engineering, mobile and satellite PCN and satellite navigation and positioning.

Meet key names in the industry

With tutors including representatives from Avanti, Cable and Wireless, EADS Astrium, Inmarsat and Thales, you will have the chance to meet and learn from experts across a range of leading satellite companies. Plus a site visit to Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) lets you see the work in practice.
