The National Space INFOSEC (Information Systems Security) Steering Council (NSISC) Annual Space INFOSEC Technical Workshop is an educational forum intended to facilitate the dissemination of information and to establish personal networking connections across the space INFOSEC community. Its purpose is to help facilitate a better understanding and increased information sharing among all parts of the community.

This technical workshop is intended for representatives from government agencies, military organizations, program offices, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and industry partners interested in learning about recent space cyber activities, information systems security (INFOSEC) and information assurance (IA) developments, policy activities, and organizational and process changes affecting the space INFOSEC community. Information about current and planned space systems, cryptographic product developments, acquisition, and deployment schedules will also be discussed either formally in presentations or in groups during networking sessions. Historically a highlight of the program has been the Space INFOSEC Vendor Exposition that runs simultaneously with the workshop.

Security Clearance Information: The technical workshop will be conducted at the DoD Secret level, with a separate TS/SI/TK//NOFORN Special Session Wednesday. Only attendees with TS/SI/TK clearance can attend this session and all must present a valid photo ID upon check-in. Attendees should have their Visitor Request (VR) or Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) faxed to Security/Visitor Control at 310-336-6983. If attending both the Secret and Top Secret portions of the program, two separate clearances are needed. Permanent resident aliens and foreign nationals will not be permitted in this classified workshop.
