›9th IAA Symposium on the Future of Space Exploration Towards New Global Programmes
SYMPOSIUM GOALS
The International Academy of Astronautics held in January 2014 the Head of Space Agencies Exploration Summit; 32 Head of Space Agencies attended this event.
To foster global cooperation in Human and Robotics Space Exploration, the Academy presented at the Summit, the preliminary outcome of 16 activities within a document called "IAA Proposals to Space Agencies". The goals of this new Symposium are to present the final results of these IAA activities, together with new proposals coming from Space Agencies, Industries and Research Centers. The aim is to promote an exchange of ideas and experiences, within the Space community, discussing the activites presented and proposing new concrete global space exploration activities involving established and emerging space agencies and industries.
Papers related to Technology, Science, Programmatics, Economics, Ethical and Cultural aspects of global programmes are solicited, papers dealing with advanced concepts and new ideas are encouraged.
