The British Interplanetary Society are please to present two excellent speakers.

Have you ever wondered about the northern lights? Dr Gaby Provan's talk is about Aurora, and the work of her group at the University of Leicester. Gaby's team have even produced artificial aurora in the lab!

In November 1957 britains first rocket reached space, the Skylark. Hundreds of rockets were fired in Britains early space programme. Robin Brand's talk is about Britain's First Space Rocket - The Story of Skylark. Robin will be able to sign copies of his new book afterwards.
