›Magnetic intermediate mass stars
This 2-day workshop is meant to highlight recent results about magnetic stars of intermediate mass, at all evolutionary stages. Observational constraints on their surface magnetic fields will be discussed, as well as the physical processes involved in the generation of ultra-weak and strong magnetic fields observed in this class of stars. A wide range of evolutionary stages will be considered, from the pre-main sequence to the cool giant phase.
We take the opportunity of this meeting to honor the late work of Michel Aurière, mostly performed using optical spectropolarimeters operated at Telescope Bernard Lyot (Pic du Midi Observatory).
