›First Galaxies, First Structures

This workshop will concentrate on the galaxies and structures, galaxy groups and clusters, in the first phases of their assembly.

We will explore evolutionary trends uncovered by observations up to z~8 and above, and structure assembly at z ~2-3. With this focus, we will also discuss clues of galaxy and structure formation at lower redshifts.


The main topics discussed at the workshop will be :


- First galaxies (z>7)
- Galaxy formation within the cosmic web: galaxy build-up at z~2-10
- Cluster assembly at z~2-4
- Star formation and feedback at z~2-10



Due to limited space, the workshop is by invitation only.

All spontaneous submission have been reviewed by the SOC, and the participants were selected on Sept 2nd-3rd. If you are not in the list of participants, your registration was not accepted.



There are no registration fees, and we are unable to provide financial support for traveling and lodging.
