“Investigating Exoplanet Atmospheres with Next Generation Telescopes”

Today, more and more exoplanets are detected but detailed knowledge of these worlds remain inaccessible. This month Quentin Changeat (University College London) will present Ariel Space Telescope that aims to study the atmosphere of thousands of Exoplanets to help us understand what they are made of.

Speaker's Information:

Quentin Changeat did an undergraduate preparatoring school in France (Mathematics and Physics), then completed a Master's in General Engineering at Ecole des Mines and a Master's in Environmental Sciences at Imperial College London. He worked for 1-year as a cybersecurity consultant for a company in Paris. Then, he wanted to do more science and went back to academia by taking the Mathematics Tripos at the University of Cambridge. He is now undertaking a PhD in Physics and Astronomy at the University College London.
