The use of 3rd party data in weather and climate services

The EUMETNET Climate Programme is supporting European national meteorological and hydrological services for the benefit of the environment, safety, economy and health.

The opportunity for more detailed and relevant services to society by combining newly emerging meteorological datasets and datasets from e.g. environmental agencies with the traditional network of meteorological stations operated by the national services is there.

The 12th EUMETNET Data Management workshop aims to be relevant to both data providers and data users. All topics related to climate data, from climate monitoring, climate data management, data recovery, standardization of climate observations practices, quality management and analysis to data provision are covered. The Workshop has a plenary session with presentations and posters, but will offer ample opportunity for discussion on practical issues and best practices.
