A day of lectures honouring the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 13 and the 30th Anniversary of the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope.
We have four lectures:
Lecture 1: 10:15—11:30 Saving Apollo 13 By Dave Eagle FRAS
Lecture 2: 11:45—13:00 The Legacy of the Hubble Space Telescope by Dr Steve Barrett (University of Liverpool)
Lecture 3: 13:45—15:00 Returning to the Moon—A New Era by Dr James Carpenter (European Space Agency)
Lecture 4: 15:15—16:30 The James Webb Space Telescope by Naomi Rowe-Gurney (University of Leicester)
There will also be an exhibition area for space related businesses and astronomical societies.
