Join SpaceWatch.Global for an interesting and informative Space Café WebTalk featuring Sebastien Moranta, Coordinator of Studies at the European Space Policy Institute in Vienna. This event will take place on 7 July 2020 at 4:00 pm CEST.

Sebastien Moranta is Coordinator of Studies at the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) in Vienna, an independent, public think-tank providing decision-makers with an informed view on issues relevant to European space policy. Prior to supervising the research activities of the Institute, he was a Senior Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers Advisory where he managed multiple studies for public and private space sector stakeholders. As a former analyst at Eurospace he has worked on various space strategy and policy issues.

He will discuss:

 

  • The way space was used in response to the COVID-19 crisis in Europe;
  • The direct and indirect impacts of the crisis on the European space sector; and
  • The questions that the crisis raises for the European space policy.

 

This Space Café WebTalk will be hosted by Torsten Kriening, co-publisher of SpaceWatch.Global and COO of ThorGroup GmbH. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions in dialogue with Sebastien Moranta.
