›ILA Berlin Airshow 2010
Ever since it first took place in 1909 the ILA has ranked as the world’s oldest air show. It is organised by the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) and is held by Messe Berlin GmbH. Since 1992 the ILA has been taking place in Berlin/Brandenburg every two years, comprehensively reflecting the aerospace industry at an international trade show and conference event that caters for the public as well. The ILA is also the only aerospace exhibition in Europe to act as a platform for markets in Western, Central and Eastern Europe. 1,127 exhibitors from 37 countries took part in the ILA2008, and some 241,000 trade visitors and members of the public witnessed the 330 aircraft they exhibited both on the ground and in the air.
