Halit Mirahmetoglu

Halit Mirahmetoglu Founder, Managing Director

Halit has a Bachelor degree in Astronomy and Space Sciences from Ege University and a M.Sc. in Space Management from ISU.

Currently he is living in Rome, Italy and consulting for the GOKTURK1 High Resolution EO Satellite Project. Apart from Ground Station Technical Trainings, he delivers training courses on communication and project management for the European Commission and various NGOs as a freelance trainer and consultant.

Halit has conducted numerous space outreach and education projects at the international level. His main goal is to set up more effective bridges between people.

Yann Lorber

Yann Lorber Founder, Web Developer

In 2007 Yann joined ISU for an internship in China and met Halit there! Yann graduated from IMAC Multimedia Engineering School in Paris in 2008.

Yann is a web development engineer and scrum master at Orange, in Sophia Antipolis, France. In the past Yann used to work for French web agencies like Advisa or Actweb and later for a Dutch company Tremani.

His daily work consist in conceiving and building web applications (web sites, e-learning applications, content management systems). He worked both alone and in small teams and he always aims to achieve the best solution for each case or client.

He is open minded, team oriented with international experience, and can rapidly adapt to new working environments while focusing on helping coworkers by facilitating the work.

Aurélie Trur

Aurélie is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in space policy and international affairs at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Japan.

Prior to starting her PhD studies, she gained space sector experience in corporate policy consulting and project management for satellite operator SES at their Brussels offices.

She developped her space policy and management skills with her M.Sc. in Space studies at ISU. She earned a higher education degree in International Relations from HEIP (HEI-HEP) specializing in space policy in Paris.

Mrs Trur is literate in several languages owning a higher education degree in Foreign Applied Languages from Strasbourg University, namely in English, German and Russian. Besides her international experiences in the space sector, Mrs Trur also worked in the USA, Canada and Hong Kong.

Hugo André Costa

Hugo André Costa External Advisor

Hugo holds a bachelor degree in Physics, from Minho University a M.sc in Space Studies from ISU and is finishing his MBA from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

He has been working in the space sector in government as advisor for the Portuguese Delegation at ESA and in the industry as business developer.

He also owns his own consulting company dedicated to H2020 projects, Business Strategy and Space Outreach. He dedicates his free time to new space endeavours as space tourism and startup world.
