›2013 Space Power Workshop
The goal of the workshop is to provide an informal, unclassified, international forum for the exchange of ideas and information on space power. SPW sessions will include Program Experience, Power Systems Architecture, Power Management and Distribution (PMAD), Energy Generation, Energy Storage, and Advanced Concepts. The workshop will be held April 22-25, 2013, at the Manhattan Beach Marriott Hotel in Southern California.
This year's theme: "Streamlining New Technology Development in a Risk Adverse and Cost Conscious Environment" is meant to stimulate discussion on how to maintain support for new technology development and to facilitate the insertion of these new technologies into existing programs.
SPW provides subjects of interest to professionals with all levels of expertise. The workshop also offers many industry networking opportunities with both domestic and international attendees, including a conference luncheon on Wednesday, April 24, and a hosted welcome reception on Monday, April 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. University students are welcome!
All activities are informal and unclassified.
