The Mars Society, the world's largest space advocacy group dedicated to the human exploration and settlement of the Red Planet, will be convening the 17th Annual International Mars Society Convention in Houston, Texas on August 7-10, 2014.

The four-day conference brings together key experts, scientists, policymakers and government officials to discuss the latest news on Mars exploration and efforts to plan a humans-to-Mars mission in the coming years.
