›YURI'S NIGHT 2019: INSPIRE ABUJA
The Yuri's Night is an International Day for Human Space Flight. The Name “Yuri’s Night” was culled from the Astronomer Yuri Gagarin who flew the Soviet Vostok Spaceship on April 12, 1961. The goal of this event is to propagate the message about Space exploration across the world and to inspire a new generation of explorers through the combination of Space Science with Arts, Education and Entertainment.
The ‘Yuri's Night 2019: Inspire Abuja’, is scheduled to take place on the 13th of April, 2019 at WeberHub Office Suite A8, Plot 1496, Halima Plaza, Behind Old Sahad Stores, Garki, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria. This programme is expected to bring together space experts, enthusiasts and undergraduate in one place to discuss how space science can make life better in Nigeria. Some of the outlines for the programme includes - Space Presentation, Movies Show, Star Gazing and Space Talks.
