On October 6th from 11h to 17h, we will take you on a journey through our space projects and show you how we contribute to the success of exciting missions!

You will be able to explore the docking system that will connect the spaceships that travel to the International Space Station or the moon station. And you will even get to see how we test this on Earth with a cool robot!

You can also discover how oxygen can be produced using micro algae and how this technology is used to test the quality of water.

We will also take you on a visit to our satellites. You will be able to see our next satellite and admire the on-board computer, which we develop ourselves, through the windows of the cleanroom.

In our facilities, there’s also a real-size model of a space telescope component that will be launched soon!

We nemen je mee op een reis door onze ruimtevaart-projecten en laten je zien hoe we bijdragen tot het succes van deze boeiende missies!

We tonen je ons docking-systeem waarmee we de ruimteschepen die naar het ruimtestation ISS of naar de maan reizen met elkaar kunnen koppelen. Je kan ook de robot aan het werk zien die we gebruiken om dit -op de aarde- te testen. Daarnaast kan je ontdekken hoe zuurstof geproduceerd kan worden in de ruimte met behulp van microalgen en hoe deze technologie gebruikt wordt om de waterkwaliteit in de procesindustrie te testen. We nemen je ook mee op bezoek bij onze satellieten. Je kan onze volgende satelliet zien en ook de boordcomputer, die we zelf ontwikkelen, kan je komen bewonderen door het venster van de cleanroom. In onze labo’s staat ook een levensgroot model van een ruimtetelescoop-onderdeel die binnenkort gelanceerd wordt!
