STONECHAT SOLID PROPELLANT ROCKET MOTOR
A Film by the Rocket Propulsion Establishment Westcott detailing the manufacture and testing of the Stonechat Rocket Motor – The Propulsion Unit for the Falstaff Research Rocket. Stonechat was the largest of the sounding rocket motors produced in the UK. Due to the age of the film the video and sound quality are not to current standards.

WAXWING ROCKET MOTOR
A Film by Bristol Aerojet detailing the manufacture and testing of the Waxwing Rocket Motor – The Third Stage Propulsion Unit for the British Satellite launcher Black Arrow. Due to the age of the film the video and sound quality are not to current standards.

If you want to participate in the Conference Call/View the Films and participate in the Q & A sessions!

  1. Click the google form link below to register
  2. Fill in the form and we will later send you an E-Mail – Film Event Joining Instructions.
  3. On the day just click on the Join Zoom Meeting link and enter the password provided.
  4. If you are participating in the Separate Questions 2 session you will need, at 14.45 on the day, to click on the Questions 2 link and enter the password

On the day be at your computer for 14.00 (with your beverage of choice!) and log in to our Conference/meeting. Please note the first film will start promptly at 14.07.

Note!

Number of participant’s limited to 100 – First come first served! The Conference Call/Films and Q & A sessions will be recorded and made available via the West Midlands Facebook group and possibly via the BIS HQ website. You consent to this by registering for the Conference Call/Films/Q & A session’s
