This Space Café WebTalk will feature Vera Pinto, Policy Coordinator and Equality Coordinator at the European Commission Directorate General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), in conversation with Torsten Kriening, co-publisher of SpaceWatch.Global and COO of ThorGroup GmbH.

Vera Pinto will talk about how Space matters when it comes to making society more inclusive. Beyond strategic and daily-life applications, Space-based services and applications can, for example, help combat gender inequality, protect victims of violence, and support people with disabilities. 

The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions in dialogue with Vera Pinto.
