Ensuring Space Business Continuity in a Time of Global Uncertainty

Description

Challenges and Silver Linings During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic is turning the world upside down – aside from its enormous impact on billions on people worldwide, there is great concern on business continuity within a multitude of sectors, including the space industry. In March, US Congress announced an emergency relief package for Department of Defense activities, including a $1.45bn to mitigate the impact of the crisis on production lines and supply chains. Meanwhile, there is a concern on how the smaller aerospace organizations and start-ups will keep their head above the water as supply chains are halted and investors are spooked, while larger organizations and those space companies deemed as ‘essential businesses’ are providing much needed equipment to the medical industry.

This webinar discusses the key takeaways from our industry survey. Key industry players from a cross section of the market will also share their vision and view on the temporary shut down of supply chains, how to continue operations for mission-critical elements, and solutions to help mitigate the outbreak of the pandemic.
