Update 21 April 2020: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis this training course has been cancelled and partially replaced by an online program ISP2020. Participants will have the opportunity to join SSP21 in Granada, Spain, in the summer of 2021.
About SSP20
The 33st annual Space Studies Program of the International Space University (SSP20) will be held at ISU's Central Campus in Strasbourg, France.
The Curriculum Planning Meeting with the SSP20 Faculty Chairs and local lecturers took place in Jiaxing from 2 to 6 December 2019 and defined the major components of the curriculum: Core Lectures, Workshops, Team Projects and very interesting Professional Visits to local institutes and companies.
Experts from international space agencies and major aerospace and technology companies from the region will work in combination with up to two hundred ISU faculty and visiting lecturers from around the world to teach ISU’s innovative space program.
The Program participants will enjoy working on exciting Team Projects such as International Cooperation on the Use of the China Space Station, On-orbit Mobility and Manipulations, Space Medical Center, or Orbital Spaceplane.
The list of possible professional visits includes astronomy centres, as well as centres of the European Space Agency and commercial space companies in this interesting and very international region in central western Europe.
