The Preventing Harassment in Science: Building a Community of Practice Toward Meaningful Change workshop will now take place virtually on June 24–25, 2020. We hope you join us to learn about and discuss anti-harassment efforts that are taking place in scientific fields.

The goal of this workshop is to bring leaders of anti-harassment efforts together to share ideas and discuss best practice methods to reduce harassment in the scientific workplace. An expected outcome of this workshop is to create a community of practice to continue future anti-harassment efforts.

Vision Statement

This workshop will bring leaders of anti-harassment efforts together to share ideas and discuss best practice methods to reduce harassment in the workplace.

Intended Audience

The intended audience is of this workshop is the science professional community, including government and academia.

Workshop Format

The virtual workshop will be a combination of panels, discussions, talks, and/or breakout discussions.

Intended Outcome

Leaders in anti-harassment efforts come away from the workshop with a better idea as to how to make effective change in our community. Leaders bring this knowledge back to their institutes, and the culture changes for the better.
