›Energia, spazio e innovazione: dalle tecnologie abilitanti agli strumenti finanziari per la sostenibilità e la transizione energetica

The Energy sector at global level is living an era of unprecedented transformation and technological innovation with an agenda focused on digitization, interconnection and environmental sustainability. Energy transition, decarbonization and renewable energies are just some of the goals of the major stakeholders operating in the sector, which are increasingly making use of space technologies and especially applications derived from space data. E. Amaldi Foundation, in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino and Fante Group, has organized a workshop dedicated to the opportunities and potential synergies of the use of space-related applications, in particular those promoted by the Ambassador Platform of Business Applications and InCubed+ of ESA. The workshop will include an institutional session and 4 thematic panels with representatives of the industrial, financial and institutional world to address the issue of innovation in relation to the interaction between Space and Energy from different perspectives. At the center of the conference the strategic lines of the Italian Space Agency and Europe on the energy front, the needs, challenges and projects of the big regional and national players. At the end of the event, a discussion on opportunities and financial instruments for innovation will be followed by an analysis of the prospects for the national energy sector supported by the integration of space assets.
