At New Scientist Live you will find thought-provoking talks from the world's best science speakers and amazing interactive experiences brought to you by people shaping the world of science and technology.  

New Scientist Live Manchester has new dates: 12–14 March 2022.  We think this will be a better time to welcome all our visitors, speakers and exhibitors in-person, and online, for a weekend that will be packed with thought-provoking talks, ground-breaking discoveries, interactive experiences and hands-on activities, workshops and performances.

Following the huge success of our shows at ExCeL London – due for a comeback in October 2022 – New Scientist Live is returning to the stage at a new venue, Manchester Central, and with a new format, combining the best of live and virtual experiences. 

We cannot wait to welcome over 9,000 visitors, 40 speakers and 30 exhibitors in-person for on-stage talks and hands-on demonstrations. The first two days, a Saturday and Sunday, are open to all, with the final day, Monday, dedicated to schools and home learners. 

If you would rather enjoy the event from the comfort of your home, all the stage talks from Saturday and Sunday will be streamed live, and our Engage Stage will be connecting our virtual audience with the stimulating experiences and engaging activities that New Scientist Live is famous for.
